Rory Blyth has been expressing some pro-XAML views in the tactfully named post Microsoft should drop XAML like a two-dollar herpes-infested whore .
Personally I found the diatribe disappointing. But perhaps that's because diatribes usually are disappointing. To me it seemed as if Rory was mistaking volume for sound argument. [Sorry for the pun, but actually I quite like it.]
After reading the post I was left with the impression that Rory was using the fait accompli argument about XAML a little as a drunk man uses a lamppost - more for support than for illumination.
Scoble Rory takes on "XAML should be XUL" evangelists clearly wants us to listen to Rory, referring to him as "one of the most provocative and compelling voices on the blogosphere". Personally, I would like to read a more compelling technical argument. Perhaps Scoble can arrange for one of his colleagues to provide one?
