The install and first hours of using FireFox 0.8, Mozilla Firefox - The Browser, Reloaded have been very smooth.
FireFox 0.8 can be downloaded from mozilla - home of the mozilla, firefox and camino web browsers .
The previously irritating Add a Bookmark dialog, which in 0.7 wouldn't allow a new folder to be added, has been improved. It's certainly better than 0.7 but I would like the option to open it in expanded version without having to click another button to expand the directory tree.
It would also be good to see more options to control animated GIFs, Flash movies etc. But hopefully those features will come before the 1.0 release.
Initial impressions are that, like Firebird 0.7, it "just works". Nice tabbed browsing. Fast. And, so far, stable.
