There is an old appellation about preachers being six feet above contradiction, referring I assume to the norm, at least in many British churches, for the pulpit to be raised several feet above the level of the congregation.
Currently I am, so to speak, six pixels above contradiction since I have comments turned off. I did that originally to attempt to stem a flow of comment spam. It seems to stop legitimate comments but does nothing (much) to stop the comment spam.
I know that I need to do a MovableType upgrade but it hasn't yet come to the top of my To Do list.
