The Spread Firefox site is indicating that the number of FireFox 1.0.x downloads is now around 44 million.
Assuming an average of two downloads per person (say 1.0 and 1.0.3) that indicates that there could be 20 million users of FireFox 1.0.
Not a trivial achievement.
