SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services

One of Microsoft's upcoming products that I think really does a lot to satisfy one of the assumptions on which this blog is built ... that customer needs should come first ... is SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services.

Businesses everywhere need to create reports efficiently and effectively. Reporting Services is intended to satisfy that customer need.

Neowin has recently carried a couple of items suggesting that the public beta for SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services will start this month. Use the Neowin search facility to locate the articles, if you are interested.

You can, as far as I can tell, still sign up for the public beta of SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services.

If you happen to have access to the October 2003 issue of PC Pro magazine (p.202) John Honeyball gives Reporting Services a great write up. If you are working in a business which uses SQL Server I would suggest you take a serious look at SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services.
