FT.com have an article, Microsoft looks set to enter search battle , fleshing out a little the rumours that Microsoft are developing an Internet search engine to compete with Google .
A search on Google ... where else? ... reveals a few hints that "MSN Bot" has been spotted trawling the Internet. I assume, but don't know, that "MSN Bot" and the subject of the FT.com article are one and the same technology.
If anyone is able to confirm the relationship, if any, of "MSN Bot" to Microsoft's new product I would be interested to know. Or any further information I could see that is in the public domain, or that I could have access to under NDA.
Online search is certainly an area of interest to me.
