PDC Webcasts

As far as I recall I haven't mentioned the availability of PDC 2003 presentations as webcasts online.

Visit Microsoft Professional Developers Conference 2003 .

Unfortunately for the site to work correctly I have to use Internet Explorer. The "links" fail in both Firebird 0.7 and Mozilla 1.6. Even in Internet Explorer be prepared for slightly quirky navigation.

For anyone interested in upcoming Microsoft products such as SQL Server "Yukon", Visual Studio "Whidbey" and Windows 2020(?) aka Longhorn there is a wealth of interesting material available. You can download PowerPoint presentations or if you have a broadband connection you can, at least to an extent, listen to and watch the presentations including the demos. Unfortunately the Sitestream server, or possibly the intervening Intenet, cannot deliver the content fast enough to make the demos even get close to responsive. So, unless you are luckier than me, expect the demos to be at least a little frustrating. But having the narrative alone accompanying the PowerPoint slides is very, very useful.

This is good meaty stuff and well worth devoting more than a few hours to if the products I mentioned are of interest to you.

A blog that I am just about to point to complains about the inadequacies and costs to customers of Microsoft product support. These webcasts are free.
