I fired up RSS Bandit, see yesterday's post RSS Bandit - simple, but it works and it's free , and had the unwelcome surprise that all my newsfeeds from yesterday had gone!
So, given that there is no Help with the version of RSS bandit that I downloaded yesterday (fact not criticism), I went exploring a little more of the user interface and found some preset blog-related feeds. Hit the Import Feedlist button and navigate to the Feed List folder to find those feeds (and your own ones if you, unlike me, had the wit to "export" them to disc before closing RSS Bandit).
It looks as if I need to "export" news feeds to a locally saved XML file which I then have to load up when I next restart RSS Bandit. No great hassle but unexpected, at least by me.
However, I recognised some names of the preset list and followed links to Chris Andersons's blog. Of which more in a minute.
