Microsoft Bloggers

One of the interesting processes currently underway at Microsoft is the phenomenon of Microsoft bloggers. They are, or so it seems, everywhere ! Some would say you can't get rid of the bloggers.

Of course we have the current Microsoft blogger supreme, Robert Scoble , whose eclectic mix of Microsoft miscellany, marketing, name dropping, comment, Longhorn snippets, technology trivia and much more is a potentially compelling mix.

But there are many more including Dare Obesanjo , Joshua Allen , Chris Sells and Chris Anderson .

But those are simply the tip of the blogberg. The link to Microsoft bloggers from Joshua Allen's home page has 138 bloggers listed! I just counted them (hopefully correctly).

Of course the fact that such a large number of Microsoft bloggers exists means that nobody who has other things to do can read all that stuff.

So how do you handle that flow of information?

What are these blogs for ?

What are the implications for Microsoft of opening up in this way?
